Sweety Shetty or Anushka Shetty was born on 7 November 1981 in Mangalore, Karnataka. She was grown with her two siblings Gunarajan Shetty and Sai Ramesh Shetty, her parents are Prafulla and A.N. Vittal Shetty.
She is an ethnic Tuluva.
Career:
She did her early schooling from Mangalore, Karnataka, and later pursued a bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications from Mount Carmel College in Bangalore.
She made her acting debut in Puri Jagannadh’s 2005 Telugu film Super.
In 2005 she worked for four films, the first being S.S. Rajamouli’s Vikramarkudu, the film went on to become very popular due to which she got huge recognition, making her popular.
Later in 2009, She starred in the blockbuster hit film Arundhati from which she won Nandi Special Jury Award and the Filmfare Best Actress Award.
In 2018 she played the role of Chanchala in a horror thriller film Bhaagamathie (2018) her role in movie was extraordinary, she is one of the famous actresses of the South Indian Film Industry.
In 2015 her most famous role was as Devasena in Baahubali and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017).
